My family setup a reservation for a moderately large party (12) as we have had good experiences with Red Heat Tavern. Upon arrival, we were promptly seated and the staff distributed menus. They took our orders and promptly filled them. For beverages, they were proactive in keeping them filled, a level of service not often seen in this category of restaurant. The appetizer of fried pickles was large enough to share and the meals were well prepared and nicely presented. I ordered the Southern Fried Chicken which was crispy and juicy. The gravy was delicious and paired well with the mashed potatoes. The green beans were firm, crisp, and warm, just the way I like them. Definitely worth returning! Hint: Batters and many items are gluten free. As part of the Burtons family, they are very conscious of food sensitivities/allergies and will adjust dishes accordingly.
Always a good product! Every time we come to Boston and head up to New Hampshire, we try to stop here. Warm atmosphere, friendly service, excellent quality food. Always something new and innovative on the menu. Kudos!
Went here with some coworkers after a sorry long day at the office. I was watching what I ate, so I ordered the Cobb salad, which was pretty good. Others food did look way better They have a decent beer tap list as well. Service was friendly. I would definitely go back and try this place again.
Nice for a casual date. The sweet potato fries were yummy. I would come back for the Big A** Pretzel any day! That thing is massive and so fun to share with friends. The waiters were nice too.
Love it here. Amazing for people with food allergies and sensitivities. The gluten free fried chicken is great, as are the RHT Nachos! My friends, colleagues and clients also enjoy it. We have had take out and delivery with great results as well. Great service, very thorough. Very careful about accommodations. Good value for the $
